Royal Caribbean’s monster second-largest cruise ship arrives in US

The world’s second-largest cruise ship sailed into Port Canaveral in Florida on Thursday.
Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas will set sail from the Central Florida’s coast for three-night weekends and four-night weekday getaways from Port Canaveral.
The ship will take its travelers to the cruise line’s private destination Perfect Day at Cococay in the Bahamas.
The boat boasts an array of amentities, including a Pesky Parrot Great Tiki Bar for a drink and the Royal Railway for an immersive adventure.
It features 18 decks with over 40 restaurants, bars and lounges for the 5,600 passengers to enjoy while sailing the seas.

The world’s largest cruise, also with the Royal Caribbean company, the Icon of the Seas recently got forced off course due to Hurricane Beryl.
It was among at least 10 known cruise ships affected by the tropical storm.
Meterologists predict that hurricane season this year, which spans from June to November, will be particularly rough this year.
